Three CCG Projects Shortlisted For RICS UK Awards

Construction News Image
Glasgow-based construction firm CCG (Scotland) Ltd is celebrating a significant achievement as three of its landmark residential developments have been shortlisted as finalists for the prestigious RICS UK Awards 2025.

This year marks the first time the awards have operated on a fully national format, setting the stage for an October 18 ceremony in London to showcase the most inspirational initiatives in land, real estate, construction, and infrastructure across the UK.

This latest recognition adds to an already successful year for CCG, which, along with four of its developments, has already secured a combined ten awards. These accolades have commended the company's innovative approach to delivering high-quality affordable homes, its commitment to the carbon agenda, and its efforts in tackling fuel poverty across Scotland.

Among the projects now vying for UK-national recognition is Water Row, an impressive 92-home development delivered for Govan Housing Group in collaboration with Collective Architecture. Already a four-time award winner this year, Water Row will be competing for the highly sought-after Residential Development prize at the RICS UK Awards.

Joining it in the national spotlight is Granton Station View, a 75-home 'net zero ready' development. This project was delivered for The City of Edinburgh Council as part of the Edinburgh Home Demonstrator programme (now recognised as the Regional Delivery Alliance) and is a strong contender in the Environmental Impact award category, reflecting its pioneering approach to sustainable living.

Completing CCG's trio of finalists is Western Villages. As Scotland's largest 'net zero ready' development, this substantial project encompasses 444 mixed-tenure homes. Delivered in partnership with The City of Edinburgh Council, Western Villages is due for completion later this year, further solidifying CCG's reputation for large-scale, environmentally conscious construction.

These nominations underscore CCG's leadership in sustainable construction and its dedication to creating high-quality, energy-efficient homes that deliver lasting benefits for communities and the environment.
