Axiom Project Services Expands With Key Hires And Promotions

Leading project and cost management consultancy, Axiom Project Services Ltd, has today announced a significant expansion of its team, including several key appointments in its Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.

The expansion also includes new hires in London and Manchester, alongside an internal management relocation, reflecting the company's sustained growth since 2024, which is attributed to 85% repeat business and new key client generation.

New Additions to Scottish Teams:

In Edinburgh, Laurence Casserly rejoins Axiom as Projects Director. Casserly, a former employee, brings a strong background in project management across the Commercial, Leisure, Healthcare, and Residential sectors, further strengthening the Edinburgh management team. The Edinburgh office also welcomes Martin McHatton (Quantity Surveyor), Callum Chisholm (Quantity Surveyor), and Jade Adam (Assistant Project Manager).

The Glasgow office is bolstered by the appointment of Darren Williamson as Associate Director. Williamson is a Chartered Project Manager with over 14 years of experience delivering projects in the Private Commercial Office Sector, Hospitality & Leisure, and the Public Sector, including Education and Social Housing. Also joining the Glasgow team are Conor Murphy (Project Manager) and Kara Mackenzie (Admin Support).

UK-Wide Expansion and Promotions:

Across its UK operations, Axiom has also appointed Tim Reeves as Projects Director in London, specialising in complex leisure projects, and Tsara Howard as Senior Project Manager in Manchester, who brings a strong background in the leisure sector.

Internally, Axiom has announced several promotions: Stephen Nash and Christopher Hunter have both been promoted to Projects Director, and Jamie Ross to Associate Director. Jonathan Burns becomes a Project Manager, and Caroline Meeke has been promoted to Associate Director and is relocating to the Manchester office to strengthen Axiom's presence in that region.

Axiom is currently managing a number of high-profile developments in Scotland.

In Edinburgh, these include:

• The commercial office redevelopment at 30 Semple Street for BBC Pension Trust Ltd / CBRE Investment Management.

• A new build-to-rent (BTR) development providing 464 units (including 116 affordable units) on Bonnington Road for Platform_.

• A recent appointment to deliver a new 652-bed hotel on Princes Street for client Criterion Capital Ltd.

In Glasgow, current projects feature:

• The delivery of the AC Hotel by Marriott Glasgow on George Street.

• A recent contract award to deliver a 934-bed purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development at Central Quay for Unite Students Plc.

• A recent contract award for an approximately 550-bed PBSA development for BHS Glasgow on Sauchiehall Street.

These appointments and project wins underscore Axiom's commitment to delivering exceptional client service and its continued growth trajectory for 2025.
