Award-winning principal contractor Procast Group has further expanded its presence across Scotland with the opening of a new base in Dumfries. The Hamilton-based firm has invested £30,000 in a new warehouse and office facility in the Maxwelltown Industrial Estate in Dumfries and Galloway, marking its entry into the South of Scotland market.
The new facility is managed by project manager Scott Kane and supports a team of eight other contractors. Its strategic location on the A75 Dumfries bypass provides Procast Group with an operational hub for projects in the local area, the Scottish Borders, and into England.
Procast Group currently holds several contracts both north and south of the border, including ongoing work with Loreburn Housing Association in locations such as Annan, Castle Douglas, and Stranraer.
The company, which currently employs over 130 staff, is recognised as a market leader in retrofitting work and innovative multi-trade contracting projects throughout Scotland and the North of England. In addition to its new Dumfries base and its headquarters in Hamilton, Procast Group also operates a base in Aberdeen, with future expansion plans underway in Angus.
Derek Innes, Owner and Managing Director of Procast Group, commented: "Having a base in the South of Scotland is imperative to business growth and we are delighted to now be set up in the community of Dumfries.
"We hope to advance projects in the area, working with local people with aims to expand further across the UK into England.
"Scott and the team are doing a magnificent job at the new base as we increase our reach to communities that need our support most."
