Pat Munro Secures Two Major Water Infrastructure Contracts

Pat Munro Construction (PMC) has announced the successful acquisition of two substantial water infrastructure contracts with Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA) and Morrison Construction.

The projects, focused on vital water infrastructure and rehabilitation works, build upon the company's established reputation for delivering high-quality services throughout the North of Scotland. As one of the region's limited number of Water Industry Registration Scheme (WIRS)-accredited contractors, Pat Munro Construction is recognised as a leading provider in the water and utilities sector.

The first contract, awarded by long-standing client CWA, forms part of Scottish Water's SR21 Capital Investment Programme. Scheduled to run from January to October 2025, this project will involve the replacement of approximately 8.3 kilometres of small-diameter asbestos cement water mains. The works will extend from the northeastern outskirts of Dingwall to a point 1.5 miles south of Evanton.

In addition to this success, PMC has also secured its inaugural project with Morrison Construction under the same investment programme. This project, which will run from February 2025 to March 2026, will focus on the renewal of around 13.1 kilometres of small-diameter asbestos cement water mains situated between Balnain and Buntait, to the west of Drumnadrochit. A significant portion of these works will be carried out along the A831 road.

These contract wins further solidify PMC's standing as a key player in the delivery of critical infrastructure projects that support communities across the region. The company's ongoing success reflects its unwavering commitment to providing dependable and high-quality water and utility services.
