Persimmon East Scotland recently convened a Subcontractors Seminar at the Hillcroft Hotel in West Lothian, bringing together over 80 subcontractors to discuss new operational processes and strengthen collaboration.
Led by Construction Director Kevin Ferris, the event introduced a refined sign-off process aimed at improving cost management and overall efficiency. This new process will streamline daywork recovery systems. Additionally, Persimmon rolled out its material control process, designed to create a more structured and effective workflow across its construction sites.
Managing Director Neil Parry, Sales Director Laura Still, and Commercial Director Michael Bandoni also provided insights, emphasising the crucial role subcontractors play in delivering high-quality homes. The seminar aimed to reinforce the importance of these partnerships and foster a more collaborative approach to project delivery.
