Scottish Property Industry Celebrates Excellence At Annual Awards

Glasgow hosted the 12th annual Scottish Property Awards, with 600 guests gathering to celebrate the best of the Scottish property industry. The awards, an independent competition, recognised excellence across the sector, with winners selected from over 40 entries by a panel of 13 industry experts.

"It's always interesting to see how changes in the market affect the range and number of entries in these awards," commented Alan Robertson, Chair of the Judging Panel. "In judging this year, we reviewed a varied and interesting portfolio. We were delighted to see that the number of entries this year is the highest in more than five years. Congratulations also to all the professional services finalists which, in both quality and quantity, have again demonstrated the strength and depth of the property and construction professions based here in Scotland."

Drum Property Group took home the coveted Property Company of the Year award, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland. Judges commended the scale of their projects, their urban regeneration work, and their contribution to Scotland’s property landscape.

The Deal of the Year award, sponsored by PMP, went to the Belgrave Logistics Park Letting, a collaborative effort involving Knight Property Group, Wincanton, Ryden, JLL, Savills, Brodies, and DWF. Judges highlighted the project’s bold, speculative nature, strong green design, and significance in the current constrained industrial market.

A new category this year, Technical Advisory Team of the Year, was awarded to PMP, recognized for their market presence, engagement, and client feedback.

The Business Leadership Award, sponsored by Together Money, was presented to Dr Ali Afshar and Mr Mike Afshar, founders of AMA, for their dedication, family values, and 40 years of contributions to property development in Scotland.

The awards showcased the strength, resilience, and innovation of Scotland's property sector, celebrating achievements ranging from urban regeneration to advisory services.
