SGN has partnered with Generation Science to deliver interactive workshops on renewable energy to primary school children in areas impacted by the LTS Futures project.

LTS Futures is a pioneering project that aims to validate the use of existing gas pipelines for the transportation of hydrogen.

Through the partnership, around 380 pupils aged 7 to 11 from schools along the 30km LTS pipeline route will participate in 90-minute workshops led by Edinburgh Science.

"I'm thrilled that SGN and Generation Science chose to visit our school - the kids were so enthusiastic and engaged," said Natalie McLaren, Principal Teacher at Granton Primary School.

The workshops, titled "The Green Machine," explore different sources of renewable energy, including solar, wind, and hydrogen, and encourage pupils to think about how to live in an environmentally responsible way.
