Essential maintenance works have been announced for the Halbeath Road in Dunfermline, with the aim of improving the road surface and traffic flow.
The project, which is scheduled to begin on 24 February and last until March 14, 2025, will involve resurfacing the road from Garvock Bank Railway Bridge to Cherrybank junction, as well as upgrading traffic signals and road markings.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place to manage traffic flow during the works, but access for residents and emergency services will be maintained.
Bus services will be diverted during the works, with temporary bus stops provided. For more information on bus services, please contact Stagecoach on 01592 645680 or visit their website.
The works are being carried out by Amey on behalf of Transport Scotland. The project is expected to cost £250,000.
Road users are advised to expect delays and plan their journeys accordingly during the works.
