GAP Hire Solutions, the UK’s largest independent hire company, has significantly expanded its range of pumps and generators in the North of Scotland.
The company has invested heavily in its Elgin depot, ensuring a comprehensive range of equipment is available to support key industries in the region, including construction, agriculture, and renewable energy.
The expanded fleet includes pumps ranging from 4" to 12" and generators from 20kVA to 100kVA, with larger generator requests up to 500kVA being supported by GAP’s Harthill depot.
"At GAP, we understand the critical need for pumps and power solutions, especially in regions like the North of Scotland," said Mark Anderson, Managing Director of Pump, Power and Environmental Services. "This investment ensures that businesses across Elgin and beyond have access to top-quality pumps and generators, keeping projects on track and communities supported, no matter the conditions."
The investment is a significant step for GAP in the North of Scotland, where it has offered Plant & Tools, Welfare Services, Non-Mechanical, and Tanker Services since 2015.
This expanded offering will be crucial for businesses operating in the region, particularly given the potential for challenging weather conditions and the increasing importance of reliable power solutions for remote sites and renewable energy projects.
