Construction has commenced on Inchmuir Park, a new industrial development in Bathgate, West Lothian.
The development, being delivered by J. Smart & Co. (Contractors) PLC and marketed by Ryden, will provide 58,628 sq ft of high-specification industrial and trade accommodation.
"With the help of our design and construction teams, we are excited to provide high spec, well-built units that have become our trade mark," said Jane Oliver, Head of Commercial Development at J. Smart & Co. (Contractors) PLC.
The units, ranging from 3,231 sq ft, will feature:
• A minimum eaves height of 6.5m, rising to 8.5m
• Electric roller doors (4m wide x 5m high)
• Solar panels and EV charging points
• An anticipated EPC rating of A
"There is very little quality industrial accommodation currently available in central Scotland," said Neil McAlister, Industrial Agency Partner at Ryden. "I am pleased therefore J. Smart & Co. (Contractors) PLC has recently commenced construction of Inchmuir Park."
The development is strategically located at the entrance to Whitehill Industrial Estate and is expected to be ready for occupation in early 2026.
This project will contribute to the ongoing demand for high-quality industrial space in the Central Belt of Scotland.
