A significant milestone has been reached on the Aurs Road project in East Renfrewshire with the successful installation of concrete bridge beams for the new Brock Burn road bridge.
Construction of the new 600-metre-long active travel route is progressing steadily, with ongoing work on retaining walls and a new reservoir culvert structure.
The project, funded by the Glasgow City Region City Deal, Transport Scotland, Sustrans' Places for Everyone programme, the Scottish Government's Bridge Fund, and developer contributions, is expected to be completed by Summer 2025.
