New Platform Aims To Unlock Innovation In Built Environment

City of Glasgow College, in collaboration with key industry partners, is developing a groundbreaking platform to enhance innovation within Scotland's built environment sector.

The Built Environment Innovation Assessment (BEIA) platform will provide organisations with a comprehensive evaluation of their innovation capabilities. This 360-degree assessment will enable companies to benchmark their performance against industry standards, identify areas for improvement, and adopt transformative practices to drive growth.

Developed in partnership with Built Environment – Smarter Transformation (BE-ST), the Institute of Innovation & Knowledge Exchange (IKE), and the Robertson Group, BEIA is specifically designed to support the sector's transition to net zero and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

This innovative tool is expected to play a crucial role in driving forward the modernisation and sustainability of Scotland's built environment.
