East Lothian Planning Committee has approved plans for 60 affordable homes on the wider Wallyford expansion site. The development, a joint venture between McTaggart Construction and Wheatley Homes East Limited, will include a mix of houses and flats.

The committee also granted planning permission for the installation of a CCTV camera at a property in Gullane. This decision followed concerns raised by local residents about privacy issues. The new camera will be located in a different position to address these concerns.

Additionally, a part-retrospective application for alterations to a garden in Prestonpans was approved. This decision was made after a site visit and consideration of objections from local residents.
