Wood, a global leader in consulting and engineering, has secured three significant contracts with bp. The agreements cover a range of services, including engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCm), conceptual engineering, and pre-FEED/FEED engineering.
The new EPCm agreement is a three-year deal with potential extensions, while the conceptual engineering and pre-FEED/FEED frameworks have been extended for an additional three years each.
The contracts will see Wood support bp's global projects across the upstream, midstream, and downstream energy markets. This builds on a long-standing partnership between the two companies.
Wood will focus on digital delivery and asset decarbonisation to deliver efficient and predictable outcomes for bp's projects.
Ken Gilmartin, Wood's CEO said: "We are delighted to enhance our partnership with bp, which continues to go from strength-to-strength. As a company we thrive in supporting our clients to deliver some of the most complex and challenging projects in the energy and materials markets and we look forward to working with bp to support the full lifecycle of capital projects worldwide."
