Moray Council has unveiled concept designs for the long-term regeneration of Museum Square in Forres and The Square in Dufftown. These projects, outlined in the Town Centre Improvement Plan (TCIP), will rely on external funding to be realised.

The TCIP aims to revitalise town centres and attract investment by providing a framework for securing external funds. Projects can be led by the council, community groups, or partnerships between the two.

Initial concept designs are now available for public review until December 20th. Residents are encouraged to submit feedback via email to [email protected]. Following the consultation period, a finalised design will be prepared.

For those who prefer in-person engagement, public information drop-in sessions will be held:

• Forres: Wednesday, November 27th, 2pm-6pm at the Courtroom Tolbooth.

• Dufftown: Thursday, November 28th, 2pm-6pm at Dufftown Library.

These sessions offer a chance to discuss the plans with the project team and contribute thoughts directly.
