The number of new homes to be built at the former Bangour Village Hospital site in Dechmont is set to rise to nearly 1,000 after the latest planning permissions were granted.
Councillors have approved plans for the final phase of the residential development, which includes the conversion of historic buildings into residential apartments.
The overall masterplan for the site, approved in June 2022, outlines plans for a mix of housing types, including affordable housing, as well as play and amenity areas. The development will also involve the replacement of trees lost during construction.
