Clark Contracts has successfully completed the first unit at the £35 million Capital Park urban logistics and trade park development in Sighthill. The bespoke 15,720 sq. ft unit will be occupied by builders' merchant Travis Perkins, who have signed a 15-year lease.
Located on Bankhead Avenue, Capital Park is a joint venture between Chancerygate and Bridges Fund Management. The development will feature 18 new build leasehold units ranging from 2,770 sq. ft to 45,980 sq. ft.
The completed unit incorporates sustainable features such as EV charging points, low air permeability design, solar cells, and high-performance insulated cladding and roof materials. The development is aiming for an EPC A and BREEAM Very Good/Excellent rating.
The completion of the first unit marks a significant milestone for Capital Park, which is expected to be fully occupied later this year.
