Hub Residential's proposed student housing development in Dunedin Street in Edinburgh has received planning permission.

Designed by shedkm, Hub Residential (HR) proposed high-quality student living in Canonmills, Edinburgh. The project is adjacent to HR's Arthouse scheme, and delivers landscaping to complete 'Maker's Yard'; a new piece of public realm.

The scheme is highly sustainable, with communal air source heat pump, biodiverse roof terrace with views of Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat, and lots of secure cycle storage.

Easily accessible to all four universities including Edinburgh Napier University, Heriot-Watt University, Queen Margaret University and The University of Edinburgh, this project will deliver 65 new student homes with plenty of built-in amenity and a vibrant ground floor, which will add to the existing gym, bouldering and creative art space in the area. Canonmills is located on the edge of New Town, and Stockbridge, near the Water of Leith, Royal Botanic Garden and a short walk to the city centre.
