Morrison Construction Bags Two CCS National Awards

Morrison Construction have achieved a Silver and a Bronze award at this year's CCS National Awards.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Awards recognise exceptional projects that demonstrate commitment to support and drive positive changes within the construction industry.

Members from Morrison Construction site teams attended the event, where they were successful in receiving a silver award for the Minerva Street Phase 2 & 3 project, a Build to Rent (BTR) scheme in Glasgow, and a bronze award for Beatlie School, an Additional Support Needs (ASN) school in Livingston.

This success adds to the 13 awards received by Galliford Try sites across the UK, meaning this year the business had 15.

Bill Hocking, Chief Executive for Galliford Try group of which Morrison Construction is a part, commented: "I am delighted to see that we have been very successful at this year's CCS Awards, and I would like to congratulate all of the site teams across our business on their achievements.

"These awards are an important part of our industry, improving the public perception of construction and encouraging the creation of value in the communities in which we and our supply chain work."
