Clark Contracts Recruiting For New Trainee And Apprentice Positions

Clark Contracts has announced that it is now accepting applications for new trainee and apprentice positions, following the success of its 8th annual Careers Event.

The Careers Events held in the East and West of Scotland throughout March, attracted over 160 attendees, who had the opportunity to meet the company's recruitment team and current employees to find out more about careers at Clark Contracts and within the industry.

The contractor's Recruitment and HR Manager delivered presentations on the company's Academy and apprenticeship opportunities, demonstrating numerous examples of staff members who started as apprentices and have progressed into management roles within the company.

The trainee positions available include Trade Apprentices, Trainee Estimators, Trainee Site Managers, Trainee Maintenance Administrators and Trainee Quantity Surveyors. To apply, please click here.

Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director, Clark Contracts said: "It was great to have another year of successful careers events, and it was heartening to see so many people turn out and show an interest in starting their careers in the industry. We are committed to ensuring new talent is recruited into the industry as a whole and are looking forward to welcoming this year's intake and seeing them progress through our Academy over the coming years."

Clark Contracts is committed to ensuring new talent is recruited into the industry and currently has over 36 trainees and apprentices within their award-winning Academy in a range of roles including, Site Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Buying, Marketing, Estimating and Trade Apprentices. The contractor annually invests £750k into training and is dedicated to the continued development of employees, with many having progressed from trainee and apprentice positions to senior management roles within the business.
