Organised by NL Academies team, the Build Your Future sessions aimed to provide practical insights and skills for future career development.

The S2 and S3 students from Bellshill Academy and Cardinal Newman were treated to an immersive timber wall demonstration courtesy of Candid Construction Scotland. This event, held at Bellshill Academy offered insights into timber construction techniques, allowing the young people to explore the craft firsthand.

Following the timber wall demonstration, the pupils had the opportunity to explore the cutting-edge technology of drones in construction through a workshop led by Skills Development Scotland on behalf of Balfour Beatty.
