CCG has welcomed the news that their milestone development with New Gorbals Housing Association, North Gate, has been shortlisted for the 2024 RIAS Awards by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS).
Winners of the prestigious prize, announced on 4 June, will become the 'longlist' for the RIAS Andrew Doolan Best Building in Scotland Award – one of the most significant architecture prizes in the world – which will be announced in November.
Designed by Page\Park architects and built by CCG, North Gate is a seven-storey block of 31 one- and two-bedroom flats specially designed for elderly people and is the final phase of regeneration on Crown Street in south Glasgow.
It has already secured design accolades from Scottish Design, GIA and Saltire.
Recipients of the 2024 RIAS Awards are also eligible for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Awards.
