Marking National Apprenticeship Week, ScottishPower is celebrating its past, present and future apprentices and highlighting its commitment to nurturing talent through our vast range of programmes.
With an increasing focus on diversity and inclusion, ScottishPower has said that it is proud to announce an almost 20% rise in female apprenticeship applicants this year as they continue to aim to grow female representation in the industry and deliver growth for the low carbon economy.
ScottishPower has drawn down over £1.5 million of funding from the apprenticeship levy across 18 different apprenticeship programmes with opportunities for all entry levels - whether that's straight out of school, college, or university or those who already have practical experience and want to accelerate their career.
Rachel Hollinger, Early Careers Manager at ScottishPower, said: "Empowering the future workforce through hands-on learning and innovation, ScottishPower's apprenticeship programmes offer something for everyone. We're proud to be cultivating talent and driving progress in the energy industry."
With excellent training opportunities, varied career paths and secure employment, our programmes kick start careers with purpose that directly contribute to the country's journey towards Net Zero.
