Pacific Secures BA Lounge Transformation Works Contract

Pacific Building has been appointed to deliver a refresh of British Airway's passenger lounge at Edinburgh International Airport.

Following the successful delivery of the new Plaza Premium Lounge there and the previous lounge project for BA in Aberdeen, this programme of work involved a major upgrade of the airline's Edinburgh facility.

The refurbishment covered most aspects of the lounge, with new and refurbished flooring throughout, along with new partitions and doors.

Involving extensive redecoration, the project included painting, new tiling and artwork. Joinery work delivered by our in-house workshop comprised new wall panels and storage units. Finally, we upgraded the lounge electrics and lighting.

The project was completed within the airside constraints of the airport, with a combination of day and night shifts to minimise any disruption to the wider operations.
