Halliday Fraser Munro (HFM) has secured planning approval for its development of a The James Hutton Institute.
The approval pertains to the construction of a new junction, access road, and improvements in car parking and drainage systems at The James Hutton Institute Craigiebuckler Campus. HFM's team lead and completed the application process in collaboration with The James Hutton Institute and the Macaulay Development Trust.
The new junction and access road will create a more prominent, identifiable, and fit-for-purpose entrance to the campus from Countesswells Road and will remove traffic from the residential street of Macaulay Drive. This is the first step toward the creation of an Open Science Campus and will enable future campus expansion plans to come into fruition, including The Just Transition Hub
