The National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) project has been shortlisted for the Commercial Property Sector category of the Herald Property Awards for Scotland.

In addition to a fully digital 'factory of the future', the building features a manufacturing skills academy and a collaboration hub. The structure features a series of striking design details, including a purple façade, a large 32m x 12m 'window to the world', and a striking timber Glulam structure above the office.

Commenting on the nomination, David Ewing, Managing Director for Morrison Construction Building Central, said: "It is a great honour to be nominated for this award, which demonstrates the commitment of our team to deliver highly sustainable buildings, as well as industry-leading solutions. The NMIS project is a fantastic new facility and I wish all the team the best of luck for the awards!"

The Herald Property Awards acknowledge Scotland's most innovative and successful projects in the property market. Winners will be announced on the 28 September in Glasgow.
