SELECT has welcomed news that its stakeholder magazine, cabletalk, has been nominated for an award at this year's Association Excellence Awards, which recognise the vital work of trade bodies across the UK.

cabletalk has been nominated for Best Association Newsletter, Blog, Online or Physical Publication for the second year running, with the winner to be announced at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on 3rd November.

The nomination follows SELECT's triumph in October 2022, which saw the trade association clinch the award for Best Membership Support Since COVID-19 in recognition of their ongoing response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Iain Mason, Director of Membership & Communications, said: "We are delighted to be a finalist for the second year in a row and the nomination is a fitting reward for the many contributors who continue to make cabletalk essential industry reading."
