Maxi Construction has been awarded five contracts, worth over £4 million, for a number of school alteration and refurbishment works on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council.

Maxi has been appointed to deliver classroom alterations at Boroughmuir High School over the summer holiday period, along with kitchen alterations at Hermitage Park Primary School. Work has also started at Granton Primary School for the provision of upgraded toilet facilities.

A larger refurbishment project at Parsons Green Primary School includes roofing upgrades, window replacement, M&E upgrades including solar pv panels and new toilet facilities.

Enabling works at Wester Hailes High School, in preparation for a new school extension, include classroom reconfigurations, furniture decants, MEP alterations, services diversions, demolition of 3 blocks and the construction of a new haul road including a concrete retaining wall.
