Maxi Construction has been awarded a place on Scotland Excel's Property Maintenance and Refurbishment Framework.

The Livingston-based contractor has been appointed to Lot 15 Multi Trades, the 2-year framework, with the option to extend for a further 2 years, is available to all local authorities, housing associations, Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC Ltd), Scottish Prison Service (SPS), Scottish National Health Service Authorities and Trusts and other public sector bodies for the procurement of maintenance and refurbishment works.

Welcoming the news, Maxi Construction's MD, John Aitchison, said: "Our appointment to Scotland Excel's Property Maintenance and Refurbishment Framework gives us an opportunity to build on our experience in this sector and provides another procurement route for existing and new public sector clients to engage with us in the delivery of maintenance and refurbishment works."

The framework went live on 16 June 2023 and Maxi Construction is appointed to geographical regions covering central and southern Scotland.
