Angus Place Prosperity Programme Open For Applications

Angus Council has announced that their Angus Place Prosperity Programme is now live.

Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Scottish Government Place-Based Fund, the programme is aimed at supporting communities in taking ownership or redeveloping land or buildings. It can also help to deliver community-led projects.

We have aligned the funding to streamline delivery and increase the impact of place-based investment in our communities.

The Angus Place Prosperity Programme will provide support to projects, from their first concept, through development and on to full delivery, bringing community-based ideas and projects to life.

Communities Convener Mark McDonald said: "Funding such as this underpins our determination to create vibrant communities, bringing people and places together. As councillors, we hear at first-hand about the aspirations that many people and organisations have for the places where they live and work and I am sure we will see an enthusiastic response to this funding opportunity."

There are three streams to the Angus Place Prosperity Programme:

• Angus Feasibility Fund

• Angus Place-Based Investment Fund

• Angus Green Space fund

The closing date for applications is Monday 24 July 2023 at 5pm.
