Scottish Borders Council has released a Programme of Planned Maintenance works for 2023/24 covering all localities across the region.

The programme lists the main planned road maintenance schemes; planned works on bridge maintenance and street lighting. The plans, along with maps highlighting the location and type of works being carried out during 2023/2024, can be found at www.scotborders.gov.uk/programmeofplannedworks.

The Council said that it hopes to be able to provide further information on planned maintenance in future updates, which will be of particular benefit to road users, enabling them to plan their journeys across the local area avoiding possible delays.
