A programme of resurfacing work is set to begin along the A924.

The essential works will take place along two sections of the route at Dalnagairn and Balvarran. Work will begin on Monday 12 June 2023, and will take approximately five days to complete, dependent on weather conditions.   

All works will be carried out under a restricted road closure between 9.30am to 3pm, Monday to Friday only. During the road closure, an official diversion will be in place.

During both sections of the works, vehicle access to properties within the site area being worked on will be maintained when the works allow and it is safe to do so. Immediate entry to/exit from properties cannot however be guaranteed when the road is being excavated or when the new road surface material is being laid.  

On waste collection days, bins should be presented as normal. Access for pedestrians and emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout.
