The Edison Group has announced the establishment of a new headquarters in a newly refurbished premises at 65 High Street, Irvine, North Ayrshire.

The Scottish-based UK and internationally operating construction and property business has taken over 2000 square feet of the 19th Century two-storey, Grade B listed building from which it aims to plot its long-term strategic development.

Calum Melville, Edison Group founder and CEO, said: "We are seeking to accommodate an extra 12 administrative team members, including people experienced in finance and HR, at 65 High Street, Irvine, a location which will be the focal point of our decision-making process now and into the future.

"Irvine is a great location for us, offering lots of opportunities to win construction, refurbishment and project management contracts throughout Ayrshire and beyond. We already have strong relationships in the town and the central location of the office means that there is plenty of car parking for all prospective members of the team.
