The Duthie Park Nursery, delivered in part by HFM on behalf of Aberdeen City Council, has been shortlisted in both the Innovation in Delivering a Sustainable Learning Space and Early Learning Childcare (ELC) categories at this year’s Learning Places Scotland Awards 2022.

The outdoor nursery which is located within a much-loved community park has reinvigorated an unused building, breathing new life into the Listed East Gate Lodge and the enclosed garden. The new facility includes woodland and green spaces outside which has become a stimulating playground and 'classroom' for the children.

HFM said: "We are pleased to have worked as part of the project team on this nursery alongside Aberdeen City Council, Robertson Group, Fairhurst, Wallace Whittle.
