Three projects from CCG (Scotland) have been shortlisted for this year's Inside Housing Development Awards (IDHAs).
The IHDAs recognise housebuilding from both the private and public sectors with this year's committee shortlisting East Ayrshire Council in the Best Older People Housing Development (Urban) and Best Affordable Housing (less than £10m) categories for the 43-home Witch Road and Bellevue Gardens in the Best Regeneration (up to 100 homes).
Both developments are currently under construction in Kilmarnock and are each being delivered as a part of a strategic housebuilding partnership between CCG and the Council that has delivered over 200 homes across the region since 2018. Furthermore, Bellevue Gardens is the Council's first net zero housing development with the 18-home development adopting the CCG Net Zero Home standard of build.
Our third project to have been nominated is Bingham Avenue. Having received several award nominations in Scotland over recent months, the development is now being recognised on a national scale in the Best Affordable Housing (below £10m) category. Located in Duddingston, it was delivered by CCG on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council and comprises 40 homes for social rent.
