Loch Lomond-based Absolute Solar and Wind (Absolute) has joined RSK Group's growing renewable energy sector.

Absolute is a renowned provider of renewable energy design, installation and maintenance services for commercial and industrial renewable energy projects, primarily in the solar sector.

Established in 2007, the business is headquartered in Loch Lomond, Scotland, but serves customers and projects throughout the UK.

Working with customers such as Scottish Water, Exeter City Council, Edinburgh Airport, UK Research and Innovation and local authorities, the Absolute team delivers a variety of solar, wind and low carbon heating services in conjunction with its supply chain.

RSK Chief Executive Officer and founder Alan Ryder, said: "RSK continues to grow its presence in and commitment to the renewable energy sector. We are dedicated to increasing our service provision in this arena and to achieving carbon net zero. The sector offers a lot of opportunities for us to help our clients in their sustainability journeys and the acquisition of Absolute will open many doors for the group.

"With Absolute in the group, RSK will be able to take large-scale solar projects from site finding and planning and consents all the way through to design, installation and maintenance, offering a turnkey service to our clients.

"It truly is a huge step in our commitment to renewable energy that I am delighted to have achieved."

Absolute Director Tom Newall added: "Joining RSK will enable Absolute to take its growth in the renewable energy sector to the next stage. Becoming part of a bigger organisation will present many opportunities for the business and for our employees in terms of growth and development.

"I am confident that together we can really make a difference for the environment and for our clients."
