Archaeological Survey Announced For Springfield Cala Development Site

Queensferry and District Community Council has announced that an archaeological survey is to be carried out on the Springfield Cala development site.

The survey will begin on the site, which was granted planning permission in Nov 2021, in early February and will take approximately 8 weeks to complete.

The council said that the archaeological survey does not constitute formal commencement of development, as pre-commencement conditions have yet to be fulfilled.

Construction, subject to the survey and completion of purchase terms with Transport Scotland, is currently expected to commence from early April 2022.
