McTaggart Construction has announced that they are recruiting for a new experienced Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Officer.
The role will report to the SHEQ Manager, and duties will include:
• Monitoring SHEQ compliance through site inspections and audits
• Maintaining, developing and enforcing the company SHEQ management system and closing out non-conformances
• Gathering data for performance reporting
• Providing advice to site management on compliance issues
• Development of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Development and review of Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans
• Assisting with incident investigations
• Attendance at site meetings
• Delivering training, inductions, tool-box talks and identifying training needs
Candidate requirements (as a minimum):
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within the Construction industry
• Ability to successfully influence and engage others
• Strong interpersonal and team working skills
• NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
• Relevant environmental qualification
• Tech IOSH
• Knowledge and experience of ISO45001, ISO14001 AND ISO9001
• IT literate (Word & Excel)
• Clean driving licence
• References required
