CCG has announced that their Maryhill Locks Phase 4/ Loghgilp Street project has won a prestigious Royal Incorporation of Architects for Scotland (RIAS) Award.

The project is one of just fourteen winners that celebrate exemplary design in new housing, education and healthcare facilities.

The RIAS Awards demonstrate the quality and breadth of architectural endeavour in Scotland. All types and sizes of architectural projects can win a RIAS Award, as the list of 2021 awards winners demonstrates. Buildings are assessed by an expert jury who look at each project's architectural integrity, usability and context, delivery and execution, and sustainability.


The winners of the RIAS Awards will become the 'longlist' for the RIAS Andrew Doolan Best Building in Scotland Award. The shortlist for the 2021 Andrew Doolan Award will be announced on 30 September, with the winner announced on 30 November.

Maryhill Locks comprises a stunning range of 33 three-and-four-bedroom houses that form part of the Maryhill Locks Masterplan located just west of Glasgow City Centre. CCG delivered the project, as well as the previous phase, on behalf of Bigg Regeneration who took forward sales with Clyde Property in 2018 with sell-out status achieved in a matter of months.
