Arc-Tech Turnkey Building Services Package Helps Deliver New Care Home

Arc-Tech (Scotland) has supplied a turnkey Building Services package to support the creation of a new, luxury care home in Templehill, Troon.

The Glasgow-based provider of Mechanical, Electrical and Renewable Services has been operational in the Care sector since its formation in 2016 with their very first contract undertaken on behalf of Morrison Community Care Group in Milngavie.

Now five years on, the business has helped deliver a third project for the award-winning care developer in the form of Queens View Harbour Luxury Suites, a 56-bed private facility that will offer 24/7 residential, nursing and dementia care services as well as a range of inclusive amenities such as private en-suite bedrooms, a hair salon, champagne bar and cinema, amongst others, upon its launch this August.

Working in conjunction with main contractor CCG (Scotland), Arc-Tech was responsible for the installation of all data, lighting, fire and electrical systems as well as Combined Heat & Power (CHP), sprinklers, BMS, comfort cooling and above-ground drainage services.

John Gallacher, Arc-Tech (Scotland) Managing Director, said: "With an ageing population, it is becoming increasingly important to provide modern accommodation for the elderly and we are delighted to have played our part over the last five years with Morrison Community Care supporting the creation of over 200 beds across the breadth of the country.

"Queens View Harbour is another fine example of Morrison's commitment to providing the very highest standards of quality and service which is matched by our contract team's efforts who worked extremely well to deliver a very high standard of finish in their installation of the Building Services package. We look forward to working with Morrison Community Care again in the near future."
