The 2021 finalists in Scotland's national competition which recognises excellence in the Scottish housing sector have been announced as plans for the return of the popular live awards event are also revealed.
The Scottish Home Awards have named the developments, homes and organisations which have made it to the short-list in the 14th annual competition which is sponsored by Ross & Liddell.
The highly respected judging panel assessed more than 130 entries in 18 categories received from 70 organisations from across Scotland.
Andrew Cunningham, Chair of the 2021 Judging panel and Managing Director at Ross & Liddell commented: "The Scottish Home Awards celebrates success in the housebuilding industry to reward individuals and teams working within the private and public sector. The incredible growth in entries is encouraging to see and reflects the impressive development work in the housing sector in Scotland. As chair, I would like to thank the judging panel for their valuable contribution in reviewing and debating each entry and congratulations to all the worthy finalists.
"Ross and Liddell are very proud to continue our support of the programme and would like to congratulate all the finalists for their achievements."
The winners will be revealed at the awards dinner, hosted by Des Clarke, which will take place on Thursday 16 September 2021 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. A live digital broadcast of the event will also be presented. Tickets can be booked here.
The awards support 'It's Good 2 Give' and the management of The Ripple Retreat a luxury residential retreat on the shores of Loch Venacher in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. The home is gifted to young cancer patients and their families for short stay holidays. £4,000 has already been raised for the charity as part of donations from entering businesses.
