Bear Scotland will carry out essential road maintenance works on multiple sections of the M9 on behalf of Transport Scotland.
The works involve reinstating white lines and studs as well as cyclic works such as gully cleaning for drainage maintenance, road sweeping where required, and litter picking. They have been programmed to be undertaken over nine nights, from Monday 23 November to Friday 4 December between the hours of 19:30 and 06:00 the following morning.
All traffic management will be removed outwith working hours.
It is necessary to close the carriageway to ensure the safety of the workforce and members of the travelling public. Signed diversions will be in place as noted below.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland's South East Network Manager, said: "It is important that we address the sections of M9 and create a better road condition in the longer term. Scheduling the cyclic maintenance activity at the same time as the markings means less disruption overall.
"We'll do all we can to complete the work as quickly and safely as possible and thank motorists as well as the local community for their patience while we carry out this project."
