CCG Shortlisted In RICS Scotland Awards

Two CCG projects have been shortlisted for this year's RICS Scotland 'Social Impact' Awards.

Recognising the built environment's positive and transformational contribution to society, the newly re-badged Social Impact Awards celebrate projects from all sectors from within the construction industry featuring residential, commercial, heritage, education, student accommodation and healthcare with a renewed focus for 2020 being how each project creates a lasting legacy within communities.

The first to have been nominated is the New Gorbals Housing Association (NGHA) Offices project in the Commercial award category, formed as part of a major mixed-use development on Crown Street in Glasgow that also saw the creation of 28 one and two-bedroom apartments. Click here to read our study.

The second project nominated for these prestigious awards is Shawbridge Street in the Residential category, a 42-unit amenity housing development located in the Pollokshaws area of Glasgow's South Side. Click here to read our case study.

CCG congratulated their respective nominees PagePark Architects and the Wheatley Group / Loretto Housing in reaching this stage and said that they were looking forward to the awards ceremony taking place in April. All regional award winners will then compete at the RICS Grand Final in London this September.
