Pacific Building has begun work on a comprehensive makeover of one of the most popular family restaurants in east central Scotland.
The four-week programme will see the Toby Carvery Lauriston Farm in Edinburgh reopen on March 7, with a sparkling new look to appeal to regular and new diners.
The project commenced with a two-week "soft-close", to be followed by a full shutdown from Monday, February 24, 2020.
Included in the refurbishment are:

• Electrics
• New beer pumps
• Kitchen strip-out and replacement
• New flooring
• Refitting of the ladies' toilets
• New drainage
• Landscaping
• Signage
The Toby – 'Home of the Roast' – is regarded as the perfect spot for a midweek roast or a Sunday dinner, with delicious menus, friendly staff and welcoming interiors.
It is part of the massive stable of restaurants and bars run by Mitchells & Butlers, whose brands include All Bar One, Vintage Inns, Harvester, O'Neill's, Nicholson's and Miller & Carter.
The Toby Lauriston Farm is just a 12-minute drive from Exit 1 on the M8 and located within easy reach of the Muirhouse, Cramond and Barnton areas of the city.
