Glasgow City Council Reject Parkhead Housing Development

Glasgow City Council has reportedly rejected a proposal for a new housing development at the former East End bus depot at Tollcross Road, Parkhead.

It is understood that AS Homes had submitted an application for 143 new homes, including 112 two and three-bed semi-detached and terraced homes alongside a number of four-storey apartment blocks.

According to reports, the council refused the application on ground of "privacy issues reduced quality of amenity space and a lack of cycle parking and details on electric vehicle charging facilities".
