Hadden Group have said that they are pleased that University of Dundee student, Reece Beeching, has successfully completed a placement with the firm.

Hadden are focused on encouraging the next generation to consider new careers in construction. In order to get the most out of degree study, it is important to have the right balance between desk and practical based learning. The placement scheme allowed Reece to work on Hadden's Maxwelltown Site in Dundee shadowing Site Manager David, and Assistant Site Manager Petr.

Speaking about his placement, Reece said: "I've been given a chance to hone my skills and put theory into practice. It's also given me the chance to meet and network with other people within the industry. I would definitely recommend a work placement with Hadden. All members of staff have been friendly and helped when possible."

Hadden said that they were really impressed with Reece's work ethic and he really threw himself into the placement making the most of the opportunities presented to him. They hope that Reece can take everything he has learned throughout the placement and is able to apply this to rest of his studies.
