Clark Contracts has been appointed to the new collaborative construction Framework by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), the first government-led agreement, which can be used by the whole public sector.
The framework can be used by both Central Government and Wider Public Sector Organisations including ministerial and non-ministerial government departments, police forces, fire and rescue services, NHS bodies, ambulance services, educational bodies and national parks amongst others.
It is designed to enable a wider range of businesses to undertake government contracts and reduce the time and costs for public sector organisations to procure services individually.
Through this framework, Clark Contracts can bid to deliver a range of construction and refurbishment projects up to £3m across Scotland over the next 7 years.
Paisley based Clark Contracts is already appointed to a number of public sector frameworks including Scotland Excel's New Build Residential Framework, NHS National Services Scotland's Minor Works Framework, Registers of Scotland's Small to Medium Works Framework and Scottish Courts Service's Principal Contractor Framework as well as agreements with the University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde and The City of Edinburgh Council.
Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director, Clark Contracts said: "We are delighted to have secured a place on this innovative new framework and are looking forward to collaborating with both new and existing public sector clients on the delivery of projects through this partnership."
