Airdrie Hospital Transformation Secures Prestigious Award

The recent transformation of University Hospital Monklands in Airdrie has been recognised at a recent awards ceremony.

Contractor GRAHAM worked to deliver a 12-phase redevelopment programme at Monklands Hospital to enhance the standard of patient care delivered to a catchment population of 260,000.

The North Lanarkshire scheme has now won 'Refurbishment Project of the Year' at the Healthcare Estates IHEEM Awards 2019.

Over 640 guests were welcomed to the awards in Manchester to celebrate the best of the NHS and commercial Healthcare sector.

IHEEM Awards judges recognised that the work on the theatre and intensive care unit was 'completed with minimal disruption to patient care and clinical activity'.
