Essential Road Surfacing And Maintenance Works For M73

Essential road surfacing and maintenance works are to be carried out on the M73 northbound carriageway, over the course of five nights from Monday 04 November.

Transport Scotland has announced overnight road closures to facilitate the works between Junction 2 Baillieston and Junction 3 Mollinsburn on the following nights at the following times:

• Monday 4 November 2019 – 8 PM to 6 AM

• Tuesday 5 November 2019 – 10 PM to 6 AM

• Wednesday 6 November 2019 – 8 PM to 6 AM

• Thursday 7 November 2019 – 8 PM to 6 AM

• Friday 8 November 2019 – 8 PM to 6 AM

As a result of these overnight works, the M73 northbound Junction 2 Baillieston on-slip and Junction 2A Gartcosh on-slip will both be closed.

A signed diversion will be in place via the M73 northbound link road to the M8 westbound to Junction 13 Blochairn/Parkhead off-slip for M80 northbound traffic or via Baillieston roundabout with local diversions in place.
