Architecture and Design Scotland have showcased an ongoing Maxi Construction project at a Case Study exhibition in the Lighthouse in Glasgow.
The refurbishment project at Craigbank Primary School in Sauchie, is being delivered in partnership with hub East Central Scotland for Clackmannanshire Council. The Case Study highlighted the importance of pupil and staff engagement throughout the construction process.
Clackmannanshire Council has played an instrumental role in involving pupils in the phased refurbishment project and its design. Maxi Contracts Manager, Brian Watters, and Site Manager, Barry Gibson, have continued this involvement via various STEM activities at the school including working with the school's Digital Ninjas team and introducing the school to the interactive Construction Manager game developed by the CITB, Construction Scotland the Scottish Contractors Group.
The Craigbank Primary School refurbishment project team includes Mackie Ramsay Taylor Architects, Civic Engineers as Civil & Structural Engineer and Hulley & Kirkwood Consulting Engineers Ltd as M&E Engineers.
